Review the following information (presented in class and in print for additional review):

  • Expectations, policies, & procedures,
  • Content Standards and Personal Success Standards,
  • contact methods and information for communication,
  • additional reminders about working in a public learning space,
  • organization of room,

  • the “First 5” & “Last 5”.

If you have any questions, please ask them by the end of the first week of starting a class.  If you do not ask any questions, you are acknowledging that you understand these expectations and your responsibilities.

Working on Content and Personal Success Standards in our Learning Community

Personal Success Standards are essential for success in academic and social endeavors.  These standards include skills that help you be prepared, knowledgeable, collaborative, and reflective.

Successful illustration of Personal Success Standards would be accomplished by meeting deadlines, being prepared for class, collaborating with others effectively, or revise your work.

Unsuccessful illustration of Personal Success Standards would occur if you aren't  ready for class, choose not to participate in class, refuse to collaborate with others, or don't revise your work,.

Reflect on your understanding and application of these Personal Success Standards.  Look for strategies and support that will help.  Once you begin to use them consistently, you will be more successful  in academic and social endeavors.

Have you already turned in your work and find additional revising and editing you want to do to improve your work?

Work may be revised and/or edited by the Friday following the original due dates.

Additional revision opportunities may be offered depending on use of class time, being prepared after absences, and/or consistently meeting & following class expectations.

Take advantage of the opportunity to improve your illustration of content and personal success standards.

Missed the deadline for turning in work?

Work will be accepted by the Monday following the original due dates.

After this second extension, alternate assignments may be offered depending on use of class time, being prepared after absences, and/or consistently meeting & following class expectations.

Meet with me to discuss your options.
